But after finishing another project yesterday, I felt I needed to write something about this project. When opening WordPress I found out … Continue reading Finished WIP #1, 2 and 3!

My colorful Killarney blanket
For quiet some time I've been working on a nice and warm blanket for my son. As the squares were fairly easy, I got a little bored once in a while... But it has been finished! Backed with a nice soft fleece blanket it now is a favorite for my son and he is sleeping … Continue reading My colorful Killarney blanket
My unfinished projects: project 7
Feeling a bit ashamed of having so much projects going on at the same time, but what can I say, I do have a crochet addiction... While working on so many things, I also do some testing for Shelly from Spincushions for her new book. I do love her patterns so much and I’m so … Continue reading My unfinished projects: project 7
My unfinished projects: project 6
I love the pictures of the Scheepjes Whirl cakes and I also love the Sophies Universe pattern. So when the Sophies Dream started I knew I had to make this one too... I already had the Whirl in the color Blueberry bambam, so I “accidentally” started. I’m hooked now...
My unfinished projects: project 5
Started this Atlanticus pattern when I was getting a bit bored by making the small squares for the Mayan blanket. This is a pattern I bought at Ravelry and is from Hooked un Sunshine. I really like the bright colors! Yarn: Yarn and Colors Musthave.
My unfinished projects: project 4
This project is lying around for quiet some time now, I do have a love/hate relationship with this one. I found the patterns on the site of It’s all in a nutshell, but didn’t like all the squares. So when I was on the way, I was struggling finding more suitable patterns. I love the … Continue reading My unfinished projects: project 4
My unfinished projects: project 3
Next unfinished project on the list is also a pattern from @Spincushions. It’s the Mayan blanket. I’ve already finished 5 large squares and 19 small squares. I need to make 9 large squares in total and 40 small ones. Still a lot of work to do! This blanket will measure appr. 150 x 150 cm. … Continue reading My unfinished projects: project 3
My stash rainbow blanket is finished
A couple of weeks ago, just at the start of the new year, I've finished my stash busting rainbow blanket. It's a simple blanket, using stash only and using a V-stitch with HDC. I love the colorful result!
My unfinished projects: project 2
Next unfinished project I would like to share is a squares blankes for my son. He carefully selected the colors himself and also picked a pattern from @Spincushions. It’s the Killarney pattern, so I will call this WIP the Killarney blanket. I’ve already finished 27 squares, still 27 to go, so half way. This blanket … Continue reading My unfinished projects: project 2

Projects of 2018
After almost a week of not touching a hook or yarn (I had the flu), I will start again today. For the first time this year 🙂 But what I also wanted to share in the last days of 2018, was an overview of what I've made in 2018. So with a little delay, here … Continue reading Projects of 2018
Bright colors
At the moment I'm also working on another blanket, which is not such a hard pattern to do. This blanket is for my son, who after using my Zahra square blanket (with the soft fleece back), wanted to have a similar warm blanket for himself. He choose a square from the Granny Square flair book … Continue reading Bright colors
Crocheted rug
A pretty long time ago, I visited a very nice yarnshop in my neighboorhood, which I didn't even now it existed. In the meantime I often visit Haakmaaraanbijsas (which means something like hook up with Sas, which is the name of the owner). Sas is also the wholesale point for Bobbiny yarn, which I love … Continue reading Crocheted rug
Scraps, stash and leftover yarn
Almost every project I make, I make with cotton yarn, either Yarn and Colors Musthave or lately, more and moe Scheepjes Catona. I love cotton and I do not like crocheting with hooks larger than 4.0 mm. After creating a couple of colorful blankets, I do have quiet a lot of stash. I sorted all … Continue reading Scraps, stash and leftover yarn
