Mozambique squares blanket finished!

Yes! The Mozambique squares blanket is finished. Three weeks ago we went to Terschelling, a beautiful small island in the north of the Netherlands for 10 days of holiday! Of course I had to bring some crocheting… I had to finished approximately half of the squares from this stash blanket.

With enough time to crochet (the weather was not good all the time) the squares were finished halfway through the week.

Luckily the weather was good the day I wanted to lay out the squares in the right order. So on a large towel on the lawn we laid out all the squares. After trying a couple of layouts, I found what I wanted.

I really love the result. Back home I only needed to make the borders. But I could’t resist making some beautiful pictures of the almost finished blanket in the rustic surroundings of our holiday-home.
