I have been following crocheters for a while, before I decided to join the Scheepjes Ubuntu Cal. I really loved the design from Dedri Duys and I really enjoyed making Sophies Universe a couple of years ago, but the size and shape of this cal made me doubt.

After seeing so many different color schemes, I started to get really exited to make one myself. Since I do have quiet some stash here, I picked colors for the diamonds and just started.

I decided to use graphite as the main color. I like the light color, however that is not such a good idea in our household. With 2 dogs blankets will not stay light that long..

I love making each and every part of this CAL and I was finished before I knew it. Again a big applaus for Dedri Duys!

Now the project is finished, I think this will be a beautiful Christmas gift for my mother!
