Almost every project I make, I make with cotton yarn, either Yarn and Colors Musthave or lately, more and moe Scheepjes Catona.
I love cotton and I do not like crocheting with hooks larger than 4.0 mm. After creating a couple of colorful blankets, I do have quiet a lot of stash. I sorted all smaller balls by color first..
But what to make of all these smaller and sometimes pretty large skeins. I wasn’t sure, so I decided to ask this question in nice Facebook crochet group (Nothing but crochet) and well the suggestions were tremendous. I got more than 700 comments with a suggestions.
After reading all of them, I decided to make a “rainbow” type of blanket with frontpost dc stitches, but after a couple of rows I was not sattisfied, have a look yourself:
So I decided to frog the whole thing and start over. This time I make V-stitches with HDC and now I love the result.. It works away so fast and easy, while watching TV or chatting.
I love how the colors work together don’t you?
